Ingredients: 2 cans crescent rolls, 8 oz. each 1 egg, separated 2 8 oz. pkgs, cream cheese, softened 1 C sugar 2 t. lemon juice 1 t. vanilla 3/4 C pecans, chopped powdered sugar
Directions: Preheat oven to 375. Unroll 1 can of rolls and press into lightly greased 9x13 pan. Beat yolk and next 4 ingredients with electric mixer until blended. Spread on top of dough. Sprinkle floor on a 9x13 sheet of waxed paper. Unroll the other can of rolls and press onto waxed paper. Slide onto cream cheese mixture. Whisk egg white and brush over dough. Sprinkle with pecans and bake for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with powered sugar. Cool and cut into squares.
Comments: This recipe works fine with reduced fat crescent rolls and low fat cream cheese.
